Will Forster calls to Reopen Woking Courts
9 Sep 2025
Woking MP, Will Forster urges the Solicitor General to work with the Ministry of Justice to reopen Woking’s court complex, closed under the Conservative Government, to expand legal capacity in Surrey.
In Surrey alone, 1,500 cases are waiting to be heard in Crown Court — including 166 sexual offences against women and girls. Victims are being told they may have to wait 2–5 years for justice.
