No Doctors? No Development

GP surgeries are now serving 30% more homes than they were just a decade ago - and yet developers are still being allowed to build without the infrastructure communities need.

Too often, GP provision is promised with new developments but never delivered. Patients are left waiting longer, and local services are stretched beyond capacity.

Every new development should include new or expanded GP surgeries, delivered when residents move in — not years later. The Liberal Democrats say: no doctors, no development.
