Will's Train Survey

Help Will improve Woking's railway services

Many of Woking’s residents regularly commute to London by train, but they cannot rely on the service provided by South Western Railway (SWR). Delays are at the highest level since 2019, and there were 1,000 more cancellations in the second half of last year than there had ever been before.

In an attempt to tackle the frustration many residents feel about overcrowding, delays, cancellations, and increasing fares Will has created a survey asking residents for their thoughts on SWR services. You can respond to the survey here.

Will said, “SWR is conducting the first full review of its timetable since 2004 and whilst timetable changes will not solve all of their problems, it is a step in the right direction. It is important that residents make their voices heard so that our railways can become reliable once again.”

Will hoped that SWR services would improve after its nationalisation last year - but that has not been the case. The data shows that SWR services have only become worse since they were nationalised.

Will believes that it is appalling that residents are paying for increasing train fares but receiving worse service. Your feedback can help change this.
